Definitely not. Dubois had fought no one before Joyce. Jennings is the best he has fought but I would not say Jennings is top 15.

13 fights in and he already has names like Takam, Jennings, Stiverne and Dubois. That's a ****ing impressive resume for someone so fresh and then that's not even including guys like Hrgovic and Usyk whom he fought in the WSB. For all the talk of Joshua's resume what the **** have any of his opponents gone onto achieve? Furys only includes two good names on his as well.

Generally I tend to find great boxers out of the UK are always somewhat overlooked by the media hype machine, which is something I find hilarious. And it's interesting, so much was made of Joshua's gold medal but it was widely considered a gifted one. Many consider Joyce to have actually won his fight against Yoka and yet, despite his silver hardly anyone takes him serious.

I also think it's down to his style. Europe seems to obsess over rudimentary, upright, by the book fighters. Joyce, like Wilder to me, seems to be a guy whose tailored his style to his positive attributes. It's something I find more interesting as I tend to find the hardest people to fight are the ones with oddball/unique styles.

Wilder an Olympian was fighting guys who lost their last six at 23 fights to try and boost that fake knock-out percentage instead of learning against Takam level opponents ..

Hard not to like Joyce, lumbering oaf or not, he's clearly effective and besides I tend to root for guys based as much on their character as anything and Joe seems to be a dude with a big heart and and a great deal more depth than first impressions might lead you to believe. Probably my favourite of all the current heavyweights, though I'm still sceptical that anyone can last long at heavyweight by blocking punches with their face no matter how indestructable it might appear to be.

Joyce clearly has the best resume of all these "new" guys around, like Ajagba, Yoka, Hrgovic, Makhmudov, Sirenko...Joyce separated him self already, he is clearly a contender.
