Ellis brothers both spar Canelo, and are on Team Canelo for a couple years. Canelo even helped Ellis with the Benavidez fight.

as you can see in their tricks, Canelo tells Ellis to add more pressure or continue conservative throws. This is good advice and is why Ellis lasted as long as he could with Benavidez. Thing is Canelo’s shots to the arms sting like hell… even in sparring. These guys know what they’re doing. And Team Canelo had posted this sparring themselves. If there was any insecurity the video wouldn’t have been leaked. It’s sparring anyways…when you’re NOT wearing Winning FG-5000’s it’s not the same nor are you even thinking to strike the same…

he's literally standing in front of dude getting him to open up on purpose. old timers used to literally let guys hit them in sparring to get in shape and get used to seeing punches. nobody other than maybe the inexperienced sparring partners are trying to win these things on a ten point must system and impress instagram or wherever these things get posted. there's literally nothing to see in that video. nothing at all.

If you go on Ronald Ellis instagram there are a ton of pics of him and canelo in camps going back a while. The most recent ones are before the Saunders fight. So hard to tell when this footage was from. His hair looks the same then as in the videos.

The video description also says that canelo is in training camp for his unifcation fight with plant. That fight hasnt been signed and plant might price himself out. So we see the uploader plays loose with the known facts. We dont even know if this video is from the current camp. But canelo obviously trusts the guy, hes used him for a long time for sparring.

Outside of the 1st straight right hand the sparring was literally dead even. Not sure how a 40 second clip of an even exchange in sparring matters? Keep in mind Canelo might be in his 12th round versus sparring partner in his 3rd round. . .

I brung up Bud because he's number 2 pfp and fit perfectly for this example. If anything it shows you're insecurity that you had to make a post quoting that small section of my post instead of trying to understand the concept as whole. Not to mention that you're profile picture has t bud on it, I know you have to defend Bud every chance you get but this is ridiculous.
