UFC fighters are disgustingly underpaid. The UFC model is still in the dark ages.
You may feel they are underpaid but maybe it’s boxers who are overpaid? The former UFC champs you speak of were already millionaires prior to signing those fights. Their reckless spending has nothing to do with the UFC.

Also, name for me a single fringe boxer with 8 losses that is a millionaire. I’ll wait

Only way Fury would be stripped is if this fight was ordered by the WBC but it's not ordered, their just happy to sanction it for the fee.
Hmmmm you may have a point. However I’d think if an independent arbitrator through the courts ruled the rematch valid and he refuses then he could haul them right back into court at that point for next shot at title perhaps?

Micky Ward and that was 20 years ago.

You UFC stans are pathetic. You’re supporting the organisation over the fighters.

There’s a reason the biggest star in the history of your entire sport had to go boxing to get paid properly.

Even your second biggest star had to go to Vince McMahon to earn some real money.

Kronk is coming for the winner of Joshua vs Usyk, Joshua just needs to do the business and prove himself worthy of the fight. Nash out.

Ufc fans do tend to be brand fans rather than fans of the sport or of individual fighters. I find that Bellator and PFL fights are just as entertaining if not more and especially the Japanese based leagues. Now having said that, that isn’t exactly a bad thing about ufc fans, I wish boxing fans were fans of the actual aport rather than fans of one or two fighters because of tribal reasons. But yeah I do understand frustration regarding ufc fans especially the geeky suburbanite ones who rant about “real fights”…..

A lot of them fail to realise that MMA is the sport not UFC. It actually makes me laugh when they just assume anyone ranked #1 in the UFC is automatically the top fighter in the world. For example Vadim Nemkov is the best 205 lb’er in the world IMO yet UFC fans will act like he’s a level below guys like Jan and Glover purely based on the fact they’re in the UFC and he’s not. Same thing applies to guys like Moraes, Amosov, Freire etc etc. UFC undoubtedly have the best depth, but like you mentioned other orgs like Bellator, ONE, PFL, Rizin etc aren’t that far behind.

Most of these guys aren’t even MMA fans they’re just UFC fans. I doubt many of these guys were even following the sport when Pride, Strikeforce, WEC etc were about along with UFC and the sport was actually booming with far more opportunities being created for fighters.

It seems like a lot of us watch both UFC and Boxing. At least lets all admit that Dana White is the biggest pile of garbage in all of professional combat sports. I am with the majority of people that say, "UFC fighters are severely underpaid." I want to see the data where all the money goes from PPV and one again live gates. When McGregor fights, we all know where the money goes, but on other headliners such as Ngannou, where is all the money going? Ngannou was pissed off that these fraud Paul brothers are making 10's of millions when legit fighters like him are struggling to get 1 million, yet the only one making serious money is White and the Zuffa's. I will always be partial to boxing, but UFC is 100x better in terms of actual matchmaking and activity of their top fighters. We wait years for the top guys to get into the ring vs each other and when its about to happen, something mysterious happens to delay the fights. Its frustrating being a boxing fan.
