The "True" is that we don't know what happen all we can do is speculate based on Margarito getting caught cheating against Mosley. That taints all of Margarito career whatever you want it or not. Besides why would Margarito tried to cheat against the guy Cotto beat and not Cotto? Why would Margarito tried to cheat against a guy he was like 3-1 favor to beat and not when he was the underdog against Cotto? It makes no sence at all. Anyone with common sense knows Margarito cheated against Cotto but no one can prove that he cheated and no one can prove he didn't. Cotto's camp never saw when they w****d Margarito's hands so only Margarito and his camp knows the true.

Margarito means nothing in the world of boxing anymore. Margarito is a thing of the past. Margarito is a disgrace to boxing.
I understand your point but what I try to explain is that cheating or not I doubt the outcome of the fight would be different. He simply was matched with a larger man with both better chin and stamina. The same thing apply to his fight against Clottey, just this one forgot that chasing without throwing is not what is call preasure.

All in all Cotto did an excellent job on both of them and because his skill set is world class maybe no fighter the size of Miguel Cotto could do better against Clottey and Margarito.

Hopefully Cotto meet Margarito down do road to answer all our questions.

I dig what you said back there. What about the mental factor before the fight? Maybe Marg thought he got caught cheating and saw no point in trying to win the fight against Mosley. I saw the fight and Marg didn't even try to put his gloves up. He was somewhere else but in the ring. It was really sad to watch. The great winner: Cotto, got vindicated with all the noise about this case.

The truth is that we don't know how many, if any, fights Margarito loaded his gloves for.

If he loaded his gloves against Cotto, well of course it COULD have been the difference between winning and losing. Obviously getting hit with harder punches will affect you physically, and it can mentally as well. You may change your fight plan if you're getting hit with harder shots. From Margarito's side, well if your gloves are loaded then you can put less into your shots and still do a lot of damage. What do you do when you're getting tired or lazy when you hit a heavy bag, you hit it lighter (well at least I do). There may be psychological edge as well of knowing you have an edge due to loaded gloves.

But that's all "maybes". We don't know if Margarito did load his gloves in other fights, and if he did, we still don't know Cotto would still be too affected by Margarito's shots if they were legal gloves.

A rematch would be interesting, but I really don't care to see Margarito fight again regardless.
