David Avanesyan almost landed the Crawford fight

Since he didn't and I don't think Conor Benn's people are confident enough in him then I hope he fights Virgil Ortiz after the Kava fight, assuming Ortiz wins that.

I don’t see the problem had it been the case. I mean Avanesyan is a better fighter than Granados or Formella which were horrible match made fights imo. The Armenian Russian took my boy Josh Kelly’s soul…

Yes, he is better than those guys. I'd like to see Benn fight him.

That’s a good fight. I guess you thought of Benn because of Formella. Formella is one of the weirdest German boys that enjoys gettting his ass handed!! Lol. How if da fook Formella went 12 with Porter suggests that Shawn had covid prior. Then again Porter was foooling around with Granados too.

i rather see Khan school Benn actually

Avanesyan is the best contender for any of the major belts out there. Certainly better than Ugas and his recent body of work. Beat Lejarraga twice and Josh Kelly.

But they both lack that elite status

I wouldn’t say the “best.” That would be Vergil Ortiz imo

For me, Ortiz would still have to prove that with Kava.

I really like David and he deserved it as much as anyone, even though I don't think he's really on Bud's level, but....umm... bit of a non story, no?

Be an interesting fight but I think he'd dismantle Connor much like he did to Kerman... Connor's win over Vargas kinda impressed but it was more a case of jumping on him early and surprising him. Despite being wobbled and momentarily stunned I ain't even sure Samuel was really hurt and now everyone's gonna be ready for a fast start from Benn.... be worth watching for sure though. No problems with that one.

Thank God that trash fight didn't happen. Now Crawford is forced to accept a fight with Porter, relinquish the belt or retire. Let's see if that "eye test" P4Per really is a top welterweight by finally fighting one.
