I just read the Steve Kim thread. Nevermind this guy is one of the biggest haterz there is. Im just tired of the flip flopping. Everyone is now shocked when the guy said that Floyd is the lead promoter. I said the same exact thing like a month ago and everyone clowned me and said that no way is he the lead promoter and this is a GBP thing. I said that you know Floyd is the lead promoter because of the great undercard and the fact that he had Zab on it. Everyone clowned me. I forgot where I got it from. I think Schaffer himself said it a long time ago. The truth is IDK and no one else really does but I dont understand how no matter which way you flip it, it always means that Floyd is a non selling bum. 1st people were clowning him and saying that he isnt big enough to be a lead promoter and now they find out that he is and theyre ripping him in the reverse way. No matter what happeneds, it will always be spun negatively against Floyd.
I could beleive that he is the lead guy because thats why he keeps saying that he's his own boss and no one takes a cut out of his money but Arum and everyone takes alot of Pac's money. With that being said, he's still going to make enough to get double figures in the millions department without a doubt. With that being said, I wouldnt be shocked if he isnt. If he was then I cant see Floyd giving someone like JMM all that money when he wouldve probably takened the fight for half that amount since he never makes anything. I dont beleive Floyd just gives out money to other fighters like that but if he did then he should be given props for it instead of trying to **** guys like Oscar does. I also dont beleive that GBP is only guaranteed 800,000 while JMM is guaranted 6 times that much. That seems a little off. Everyone has been getting injuried in boxing lately and Castillo got hurt before the Floyd rematch but Floyd is the only one who gets called a fake when he says he is hurt, despite the fact that the guy is coming back after a 2 year absence and his sparring partner said that Floyd stopped training after they sparred and had to be out with the injury.
The bottom line is that in almost every Floyd topic since this fight has been made, people have ripped him bad one way. Then when they find out something is the reverse, they actually find a way to spin it and rip him going the other way. How is that possible? Its a joke. For now on, why dont we just wait until the fight gets done and see what is really going on but the truth is that we will most likely never know. Why? Because Floyd & GBP are always going to say one thing while Arum, Roach, and Floyd's critics will always say the exact opposite. You will never really know the truth but everyone will just take the side that makes there guy look the best and there enemy looks the worst. Who cares at the end of the day. I just want to see Floyd vs JMM, Pac vs Cotto, and Floyd vs the winner or Shane. I bet anyways that Floyd would have no problem telling Pac lets go 35/35 with the last 30% going to the winner. I bet Pac wouldnt do it. I also bet that people would try to spin that by saying that Floyd is just doing it because he knows Pac would get the bigger cut otherwise. Yet if Pac said that to Floyd and Floyd said NO then everyone would call him a scared *****. Its always the same thing
