last week you were playing edited caleb plant videos of him saying he wants the fight and then mocking him for passing it up...today youre complaining its on ppv....which you knew would happen if the fight got made

plant only has 21 pro fights at age 29...theres reason he would probably want to hold that fight off a bit .......and yeah the fight could always fall through and not happen next.....totally....like bud/pac.......but the point flew over your head....these angry, hating, fgts went straight from clowning plant to complaining about the price of the ppv and the fight being on ppv at all......not a single one willing to admit they could have been terribly wrong just days ago clowning plant.....

again ...plant will probably get pasted...and idc...it wont bother me one bit.....but these guys just a few days ago were saying "haymon wont let him ...haymon wants to keep a belt and he wont risk it"......straight to bitching about a ppv price.....im sure you were smart enough to know if this fight ever got done it would be on ppv right? lol......plant only has 21 pro fights i could see why he might wanna prolong this fight...he will lose...it makes sense since hes gaining some steam as a known fighter he might have wanted a few more paydays as champ before getting beat up.....thats just smart from a financial standpoint....

If he goes to PBC he doesn’t get control of the promotion and profits. Not that it affects overall since he gets his guarantee, nor does it affect fans of the sport that still watch Canelo fights worldwide for distro. Meaning that world distro would be the same if it were on DAZN. Difference is that the app is so global every gets to afford or benefit from a Canelo fight. Instead, this goes to PPV and it’s tagged at $80. It’s moreso caring for others not really needing to spend that much. The cheaper the tag for the sport the better it is for the sport. How much does it cost a man and his son watching the NBA finals where the kid is getting into the sport because of his peers and father.

I mean the fight taking place on PPV stateside and then DAZN having global rights to the event was always the most likely scenario here. I don't think it was a forgone conclusion it would go down this way but the most likely one.

I'd imagine DAZN would have limited rights in not being able to replay it for back catalogue, unless PBC gets a percentage from replays. I doubt that happens, and basically Haymon would be helping DAZN longterm. Doesn't seem logical
