Pac beating Spence wouldn't have that affect on me. Unlike those 2 poor Pac fans who couldn't take May winning.
If Pac wins, I will just have to deal with a more foaming at the mouth fan base. I will also congratulate you all.

A better question is why do so called Pac fans refuse to give up those 8 names that made Pac so great ???

You have witnessed and taken part of the refusal

If you go back and watch the fight on mute its actually extremely competitive. The only CLEAR rounds were 4 and 6 where Manny buzzed Floyd...also buzzed Floyd in ~9th or so. But most rounds Floyd won were very narrow with only a few jabs separating the fighters.

People let the "story" of the fight dictate their perception. That means people expected Manny to win by blitzkrieg the way he beat Algieri, Margarito, and Cotto or at the very least outbox Floyd like he did in Mosley or Bradley 1. When that didn't happen people saw Manny's performance as a NEGATIVE. Conversely Floyd is a DEFENSIVE fighter and he was expected to win by backing up and countering. Floyd did EXACTLY that but his own offense was absent. He had a few flashes and a DECENT (but not great) JAB but I gotta call out that uppercut by Floyd in ~9-10th...a thing of beauty. Nonetheless Manny did not match his "story" of coming forward and being effective offensively. Floyd matched his "story" of backing up and being somewhat effective.

If you look at the fight without the "stories" in mind its a very close fight. Floyd often does NOT land the jab or right despite commentators insisting he does. Manny also does not land anywhere near commentators suggest.

It was a lot like Calzaghe Hopkins in that its almost unwatchable because, despite both their brilliance, nothing really happens. When Floyd gets in trouble he covers up and stabilizes rapidly. Manny gets puzzled often but he never stays puzzled and doesn't let Floyd punch him much as his own defense, although not aesthetic, was also effective.

I won't read this garbage but here's the facts: every CREDIBLE boxing publication, expert and analyst scored the fight for Floyd. The biggest Floyd hater/Manny lover on this site (Pac-Boy) had Floyd winning. The biggest Floyd hater/Manny lover on HBO (Lampley) had Floyd winning. 16 out of 18 worldwide media outlets scored the fight for Floyd (the other two were Asian and still scored the fight a draw). If the decision were controversial at all, you know Roach and/or Arum would have screamed robbery at the top of their lungs. They didn't. Why is all this? Love him or hate him, Floyd EASILY win this fight and put in very little effort into doing. Do you actually think that you're right and everyone else is wrong?

Tell me again about how you're not a Manny nutthugger......

Some light tapping with a small stick that's only being gripped with a thumb and one finger?
..... that's supposed to be something special?

                  You think you do ??

You're just as anonymous to Pac as I am !

At least I'm not wasting my time with a fake. Unable to name the names that made him ''great''. What kind of fan does that ?

I'm not of the "Manny's shoulder was hurt" or Floyd's TUE conspiracy brigade. The fight was much, much closer than the scorecards imply. Again, if you didn't read my post then you'll misunderstand the story of the fight. Manny did a goddamn commercial with Reebok suggesting Floyd was scared! Manny said "thank you" at the weigh-in to Floyd. Manny believed he was going to run through Floyd and that didn't happen at all. The fight unfolded similar to how all Floyd fights happen which is a testament of Floyd's ring generalship. However, Floyd did nothing offensively despite what the commentating team would have you believe
