Alvarez Beats The Sht Out Of Beterbiev

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t see what so impressive about Beter

yes he has lotta power. But that puncher’s chance sht is overrated vs an iron chin tank with a VERY GOOD defense

    Alvarez too skilled for Beter

I remember once upon a time we used to talk about unification between Gvozdyk vs Bivol. Yall remember that? the Nail beat Bivol in the ams and still fought Beterbiev even though he was beaten too in the ams.

Beterbiev RETIRED Gvozdyk FFS. maybe Gvozdyk wasn't mentally strong enough to lose to Beterbiev by KO in both the ams and pro Unification fight. that could HAUNT many, meaning he thought if he couldn2t beat BEterbiev then what's the point.... Beterbiev is the Lineal Champ.

Guys can downplay that all they want, but the very best have been knocked down too. Imagine casuals making fun of Marquez because he was dropped 3 times by Manny in one round.. Do you really need to explain the dynamics?

Seems like guys are just trying to discredit a Canelo win moreso than giving Beterbiev his props. that's whack imo

That Bicol guy now that’s a harder opponent for Alvarez

Well he should hurry up and do it then before Beterbiev turns 40 years old.

beterbiev knocks him out. if canelo thought he could beat him he would have stayed at 175 instead of moving down to 168 to fight crap

You’re way off on this one man. Have you watched much of Beterbiev?

Beterbiev is a highly skilled boxer. Great pedigree, good technique, varied repertoire of punches.

Whether he beats Canelo, well that’s a far more complex question to answer but he has far more than just a punchers chance. He definitely has the best shot of beating Canelo out of anyone from 160-175 IMO. Canelo is a special fighter though, I wouldn’t confidently pick anyone to beat him tbh. Best fighter in the sport at the moment.

If you think Beterbiev is nothing but come forward power, than you haven't watched Beterbiev, or you've just been mesmerized by his power like everyone else.

Some fights he kind of just relies on his power and strength too much and takes shots he shouldn’t but he has got decent skills. Very technically sound. Beat guys like Kovalev, Usyk, Gvodzyk etc on points in the amateurs so he definitely has a boxing brain. Thought he boxed excellently against Gvodzyk in the Pro’s too.
