Castaño deserved the win. What a disgrace. Dude took it to jermell the whole fight. Dictated the pace fight was fought on his terms yea he got caught a few times but that was because he was the one taking risks and still kept pressuring the whole fight. Fought his heart out. I liked him before this fight but now im a huge fan after this performance. No surprise with the decision though i mean did anybody really think that boxing would actually do justice and get it right this time. Messed up part about it is if jermell had the type of performance that castaño did he woulda easily got the decision. Thats boxing no wonder everybody laughs at this sportgreeneye99 likes this.

This fight wasnt no dam draw. I wonder who was the idiot writer that scored the fight a draw in this website , it was probably the same idiot who wrote this article. Jermall charlos own trainer told him that they needed a knockout to win, he knew his guy was losing. Castaño won 8 rounds of 12 , minimum 7

Castano is the best in a weak division with no top tier fighters. Castano was squaring up and static in front of Charlo like a punching bag all night. Castano does not get good torque on his punches mostly arm punches and still hurt Charlo. Showed good chin. Castano needs to improve if he wants to repeat Charlo will time him better next time. Someone with a good jab like Golovkin would turn Castano's face inside out with the jab then knock his block off with a hook.JakeTheBoxer likes this.

That's why we see these absurdly wide cards, because the judges don't know what's coming so they gotta make sure to give as many early rounds as conceivable to their guy. The other thing that happens too of course, is that having one absurdly wide card distracts from the other cards and inclines people to look at em and think 'well at least it's not that bad'.
That said I haven't watched the fight myself yet, just gonna get another coffe on and give it a once over, decide what I think for myself.kiaba360 likes this.
