I don't think "style" will be the problem with Cotto. As a trainer myself, the one thing that gives fighters problems is speed.....the question for me is, can Cotto over come Pacs speed.

I know Cotto has faced fighter that are fast and done very well against them but there is a difference between hand speed and foot speed.

Pac's biggest attribute IMO is his foot speed. Zab has fast hands as well as Mosley but they don't get in and out the way Pac does, not even close.

Pacs power also come from his quickness not so much his pure punching power. The punch that hurts you is the one you don't see coming. The shots that he hit Marquez were like that and the one he KO'd Hatton with was definitely like that.

You think Pac hits harder than Mayweather? No, but he caught him with a shot Hatton didn't even see coming. He can hit Cotto like this all night long IMO and I think Cotto is going to have to be very intelligent and even give up some of the early rounds to settle Pac down and take over the last part of the fight.

good analysis!! i dont i understand when people compare pacs speed to shane and judahs. they are nothing alike. those two stood in front of cotto while pac will be moving all over the place. and cotto is flatfooted which will benefit pacquiao with his speed of hand and foot.
