i do...i think its a legit topic...yeah i have a rep for ****ting on hopkins for scaling down, but i didn't mention him once and thought the topic was bigger than him and wanted differing opinions...

should a fighter who enters pro boxing in their natural, or most efficient weight class, lets say for arguments sake, welterweight and after a couple of shaky fights, scales down to say lightweight and is successful beating naturally smaller fighters, be held in the same regard as a fighter who enters boxing as a welterweight and reigns over that division or moves up and dominates competition in higher weight classes?

No. It's all about who you fight. Garnerin titles in different divisions is always a good thing. But whatever division it is, you gotta beat the best guys there to get the acclaim, unless it's a division way outta your reach. If a fighter downsizes cuz he couldn't physically handle guys where he started, nothin wrong wit that.
