Mosley will look his age against Clottey

Mosley will be facing for the first time in some time a fighter that has great defence! When you look at Mosley past fights you see that Mosley been facing guys with no defence what so ever. Look how Mosley look against Cotto (Underated defence) and Wright. Mosley got out box silly by both.


I expect Mosley to look all those 38 years old against Clottey.

I still think it should be competitive. he might go hard at the body, cuz when he (shane) throws, his shots come hard and i think he should be able to break thru a enough times to hurt.

I also think Clottey will win. Unless Mosley should land a sensational punch and knock him out, which I sincerely doubt.

I know Winky beat him fairly easy,but maybe I missed when Cotto boxed him silly,because the fight I saw was a close hard fought fight on even terms,save for maybe age!!

Cotto has much better timing than Mosley and it was hard as **** to penetrate Clottey's defence. All Mosley will hit is gloves and those 38 years old will beging to show up. I expect Mosley-Clottey to be an ugly ass fight but it will be fun to watch!

Agreed I don't put much stock in SSM beating Margo. Margo was weight drained and then got caught cheating do u honestly believe that was the best Margo? He didn't show up 4 that fight. SSM will lose this fight vs Clottey.

Cotto out box and timed the **** out of Mosley. Clear UD win for Cotto. Mosley look frustrated as Cotto timing was destroying his speed.

i dont think he will lose...

if clottey would pick up his work rate and fight like he did against Tony, i think he wins... but that was all he would have needed to beat cotto and for some reason he wont do it...

He was trying to do it but Cotto was smart in those late rounds and started to move away and box. Cottey is not as good when chasing people around the ring, he needs to set his feet to punch. Mosley is also not as good of a boxer as Cotto so I don't expect Shane to move around, Mosley will trie to do the same thing he did against Margarito.

Clottey is not active enough over 12 rounds....especially the championship rounds to pick up important points. I think Mosley's combo's throughout should seal a UD no matter how good a defense Clottey has.

The punchstats may show Clottey being more accurate, but if Mosley is the aggressor, an active one at that....i'm sure i can see who the judges will favour.
