Very impressed with Gongora in both fights I saw of him. The Akhmedov fight he was taking heavy leather and slinging it back. He looked very loose and smooth in taking Ali's assault and then returning fire. He broke down Pearson in the next fight.

Very enjoyable fighter to watch and I like his temperament. Look forward to more from him.

Viva Ecuador!! Gongora needs to fight an eliminator to become a mandatory. Callum Smith would be a great step up.

Gongora is a great combination of smart boxer / wildly entertaining and brings heart and resolve and power to the table. Love it when a fighter from literally nowhere breaks onto the scene and makes a big splash.
