Don’t think a slick type boxer will beat Canelo if he keeps walikng them down like that. Canelo’s worst matchup imo is a GGG style opponent where he has a good jab and will pressure Canelo going back foot. Charlo and Bemavidez beats him.

Wait, u said Charlo or Benavidez beat Canelo? And regarding GGG. 168 is a different ballgame let alone 175. Canelo’s power is on another level when he’s not draining

Canelo had a game plan and stuck to it, so he had to keep the pressure on BJS. He beat Jacobs by boxing, he beat callum by taking his jabbing arm to create an opening for his shots. That's what a great fighter does, he takes your best weapons from you.

I swear...fighters just CANNOT win with NSB.

A guy goes in and boxes smart = "All he did was RUN!"

A guy goes in and barely throws = "He threw the fight!"

A guy goes in and pumps a jab (Canelo/Golovkin 1) = "nah bruh, you can't win with just a jab, this isn't the Olympics, all that matters are POWER SHOTS!"

A guy goes in and does nothing but power shots = "meh, he looked basic, boxers beat him"

        Fighters CANNOT win around here.

The can fight off the back foot, box off the front foot and also load up power shots. He has many ways to win, that strategy was just the best way to win vs BJS.

No man that went life and death with Chris Eubank was ever going to withstand Canelo

Canelo worked him into the position he wanted him. Loads of boxing IQ if you ask me and takes what the other fighter does and uses it against them. BJS kept on bending from his waist to avoid punches and he made him run into that upper cut. Perfectly timed.

I was going to say Charlo has the best chance as he reminded me of a younger GGg. But then he had trouble with that part time Mexican boxer so I don’t know anymore.

sauders was ducking low a lot.

canelo noticed this and made mid fight adjustments. looked to time him with the uppercut

it worked and he broke saunders face. what else do you want? some people are never happy

Saunders wasn't allowed free reign to use his boxing like he did with Eubank Jr and Lemieux. It was a perfect strategy by Canelo, he literally choked the stamina out of him. As a Saunders fan, It was frightening to see how the ring seemed to get smaller with each round.
