Yeah, a fillipina girl I know wore a darna costume to a halloween party so I had to ask who she was.

Of course for the rest of the night, I was trying to get that costume off of her.... he he he.

        i don't know about that , jm.

pac has a good 6 inch height advantage and god knows how much longer reach.

guilledo probably came in the ring at around 115 or so.

pac probably has 20 lbs. on him.

I don't think Pacquiao's face first approach (at flyweight) is necessarily the best way to fight Pancho Villa.

Villa fought bantamweights, featherweights, he even fought a future welterweight champion Jimmy McLarnin. Pacquiao would have big size advantage though of course.

Villa was also a killer body puncher which was definitely Pacquiao's weakness being as weight-drained as he was for his flyweight fights.

possible but so hard to figure how he could overcome pacquiao who is a good size even at 135.

Then again Pacquiao was 19-20 years old at the time he fought as a flyweight. He has obviously become much bigger and stronger since.

In the fight I posted his opponent was the same height as Villa (both him and Pacquiao weighed in at around 110 pounds). He was able to hurt Pacquiao to the body a couple of times.

I think it's possible because Villa was very strong and tough for a flyweight with the ability to fight much bigger men, defeating three bantamweight world champions Bud Taylor, Kid Williams and Abe Goldstein and going 10 hard rounds with the future welterweight champion and hall of famer Jimmy McLarnin in his last ever fight.

Villa is of course mostly known for his knockout of flyweight champion Jimmy Wilde but a lot of his success came in the bantamweight division.

You can't count out Pacquiao due to his size, power and his speed but he was very unschooled at the time and would likely be drawn to a brawl with Pancho Villa.
