Breaking News on Big Time Fights and Non Fights

I dont have a subscription to Max Boxing so all I could read is the first paragraph but it says that if Floyd doesnt sign by tommorrow then he could lose the Gatti fight. It also said that the June 11 date could be taken by a Hopkins vs Taylor fight and that Gatti would face Mosley in September for more money.

I have already reported that the main sticking point in the Floyd fight is that Arum has lessened Floyd's guarentee by a million dollars. Arum said that it was a 4 million guarentee but dropped to 3 because he lost a month of promoting from Floyd's case. Max boxing says that it was 3.5 down to 2.5 Arum said that if they make the top money then he will get it and they probally will. I get that Floyd just doesnt trust his own promoter in Arum. I have been reading alot of Arum interviews lately and most of the stuff he says actually sounds like he's against Floyd. I can see why Floyd hates him. I think Floyd can also get some more money from the PPV buys. Why cant Arum just give him the extra million. He shouldnt back out of his word. The littile bit of time didnt hurt him too much. Arum has been talking like he is Gatti's promoter.

Why would Gatti want to fight Shane. Im sure he wouldnt make that much more money and I think it is a much more dangerous fight that he has no chance of winning at 147. I hope Floyd gets the fight but I still hope that Taylor and X fight soon

True, I guess. But you can't ignore the fact some of it are Mayweather's own doing.

PBF should take the money and be thankfull, he ain't a PPV fighter (yet). No one other than hardcore boxing fans would go out of their
way to see him and this is an opportunity to get big off the name of another fighter that he should beat fairly easy (relative to say Tyszu). But judging by his level of competition recently it looks like he'll be the next Roy Jones rather than Tito/DLH in his career
      moves.
Shame if that's the case cause he's a helluva fighter and I don't want to have to hate him like I hate Roy LOL.

PBF should take the money. The recognition he will get by beating gatti = more money in the future,imo.Gatti-Mosley,kinda hope it happens,I like gatti,he's entertaining, but people been overating Gatti too much recently, and i think this will prove it.Who do you think is more dangerous for gatti tho, floyd or, mosley at 147? Either way it kinda spells gatti's undoing.Really wanna see X vs Taylor tho, sooner the better, even tho taylor might be a little green for X, i think its a great matchup.

Interesting. I actually think Gatti has a better chance against Salty Shane than he does with Mayweather.

Gatti has no shot against Mayweather or Mosley...Mosley will hit him hard and probably hurt him more and Floyd will make Gatti miss alot and look like an Amatuer...

Gatti's people should find a couple more fringe contenders to fight before they let their prized posession get smoked.

No way. Mosley would knock both fighters: Gatti and PBF smooth out. Perhaps in less than 3 rounds a piece. He is one of the most dangerous fighters ever at 145.

Really? Other than one legitamate win against DLH, what has Mosely done? I never though he was that great...at all. I would favor Mosely over Gatti, but not by much.
