How Do Networks Pay Crawford So Well For Fighting Who He Fights

Dude is neither a charismatic character selling fights like Floyd nor is he a whirlwind of excitement the way Mike Tyson and manny were

Terence does not make the most in-demand matches and the businesses still pay millions

You expect the market to punish a producer who doesn’t supply what the people want

    Terence somehow defies logic

Crawford sells the illusion that he's the best fighter in the world and no one wants to fight him. That's how..

          Because of his contract.

But I'm certain Bob Arum said that he loses money whenever Crawford fights.

So, he's probably paying more money to Crawford than he's actually worth when the fights go through.

Bob is paying the difference. It's why he hasn't been all too eager to spend big money on getting Bud a big opponent when no can will even go.

They already have sponsors under contract. It’s like ratings plummeting in football, basketball, baseball, but they still get paid the same. Sponsors pay their salaries, so long as people keep buying those products like Coke, Verizon, Doritos, etc., no one is losing money.

Bob Arum pays him because he thought he could get him a big fight.
