    Berto getting a pass again

I'm not usually one of those "this type of stuff is ruining boxing" types but seriously this guy fights average opponents, makes good pay days, and holds a belt hostage.

It's starting to be a joke. I really want to like Berto. He doesn't do anything wrong per se, he's just too protected. It's already 2-3 fights past time to step up yet he's making big paydays. It's frustrating. He's going to attempt to cherry pick another title now against the worst title holder while not rematching Collazo. And if he does get the title watch him go for the rematch then.

Well from the looks of it he only has two options. That's fight Collazo again or fight that IBF dude. He could've made good money against Mosley. Now he he has to suffer with the low payday. **** I doubt HBO would approve a Zab vs Berto fight.

Urango and Collazo are better wins than Judah at this stage of his career (plus a technical decision) and a blown up Corrales yet people talk about Clottey like he's an elite WW. Give Berto his due; Mosley priced himself out of that fight. Berto is doing what's best for him.

Berto shouldn't be in the position to do "what's best for him". That's what happens when HBO thinks you'll be a star and spoils you. Collazo is his best win and I had him losing (albeit close). Urango is a pretty good 140 pounder, about it.

They probably would, which is why Zab will be going through with the Diaz fight on the Mayweather-Marquez undercard. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody talked to him and it's coming up next for Berto.

Um it's Berto's fault Mosley lowballed him? He would have made less than what he did vs Urango. Mosley is to blame. He chose Clottey because Clottey would take any big fight for any decent cash

I don't see why he can't go grab that title from Isaac Hlatshwayo and then get back in the mix...at least he's fighting a titleholder

Isaac does have some notable wins(N.Campbell, Ndou, Rodriguez)...

Berto was offered 800k. It's not Mosley's fault, HBO spoiled him and let him fight soft touches. Now, Berto thinks he's entitled to millions, when he really isn't.

HBO spoiled him with big paydays for small fights. Now with their budget smaller, he won't get paid as much, whether he likes it or not. He'll have to take less money to get fights made. Beating Mosley would have opened up a lot of doors for him, but now he can fight another no body.
