Will Charlo vs Castano be picked up in the UK?

We need Boxnation to make a come back. They showed all the international fights and as a result it forced the other networks to up their game and buy international content as well.

I can't imagine the rights to Charlo/Castano would cost all that much. But networks probably know that fight doesn't draw all that great ratings at 5 am in the morning. Putting it on Fite TV gives them an out.

That’s what annoys me man, they’re not even expensive, Boxnation had a shoe string budget and were showing 4-8 international shows per month. Picking up this card would be a drop in the ocean for mega multimedia outlets like Sky and BT.

I met Sky’s head of boxing Adam Smith at a boxing dinner a couple of years back and I asked him why they don’t pick up international fights and his response was “we can’t show them all” and I was like show them all, you don’t show f***ing any!!! Yet they’ll put YouTubers on f***ing PPV… I get it’s a business and stuff but it constantly feels like take, take, take over here, never any reward for the hardcore boxing fans who support the sport week in week out.

Anyway rant over… I’ll buy it on Fite if they pick it up or find a stream if not.

Lol, YouTubers bring in good ratings!!!! But yeah, I like that ESPN+ now picks up a lot of the UK cards and obviously DAZN now with the partnership with Matchroom. Charlo vs Castano is too good of a fight for no one to pick up.
