REAL STREET FIGHTING Looks Like MMA

Where did this urban legend come from.

Countless fights have ended after someone been dropped by a PUNCH

people who have been handled by a punch outnumber dudes who got beat up in a clinch or dropped by a kick

It's such a myth, isn't it? UFC fans go on like it's fighting but with no rules, if that is the case then why do they have to punch someone a certain way when they are on the floor? Why can they not headbutt them on the floor? Why are tons of moves from wrestling, not allowed to be done for real in UFC? UFC is fighting with rules, just like boxing is. Nothing like a street fight. both are sports with many rules and many restrictions. And to repeat UFC is nothing like a street fight.

Maybe they're talking about the part where sweaty dudes lie on top of each other. MMA fans seem into that type of ****. I don't know. I just know I ain't never seen a dude throw a kick in a street fight.

It funny cuz when pro mmas talk about the importance of punching for self defense. They don’t discount boxing

very few fights ends in stand up... if the guy doesnt drop on the first punch then the fight will turn into a wrestling match!! you think a regular joe has the stamina to "box" in a street fight hahaha!!! most fights ends up grabbing, even fights in the hood!!!!!

nobody said they turn into mma, doing bjj on the ground.. but most street fight after the 1-2 punches are being thrown, it turns into a grabbing and wrestling match. i am talking about random street fights, not planned sparring sessions on the streets but real fighting against another random stranger. this 99% of the time will turn into a holding, grabbing wrestling match with the stronger guy overpowering the smaller guy.

real fighting could be a few punches, some wrestling around, a knife, a gun, a headbutt, a kick to the balls, any idiot can stick a knife into someone and lots do

exactly, most people will go into a boxing style stance and try to land a straight right (or left) as it may be

& then hope the person facing u is not trained or less trained then u, not a very good idea really, ill take my health and freedom over that unless its a no choice situation i think
