The eye test tells me Tank can be an elite fighter.

I never got that same feeling from watching Broner. He was good for a time, yes. But nothing jumped out at you that he could be special.

Gervonta Davis is very good.He has speed, Accuracy and an excellent chin. I wish him well and hope he makes a lot of money. However, I have never known a time like it, where there are incredible good boxers waiting for a fight.. He needs good careful management and if he trains to a style to neutralise a certain opponent, Then he needs to be extremely wary when that opponent cries off with a last minute injury and the stick some unknown opposite him. Remember, Kirkland Lang, A UK boxer of Jamaica, Windrush origin. Roberto Duran seldom made slips but Kirkland handed Roberto a boxing lesson that night and got a split decision which he well deserved..Kirkland died on the 9th of this june 2021 a sad tragic figure but boy could he box. He has no guard, Roberto could not bully him and to be honest Roberto stooped to fouling him but to no avail. It was known as one of the biggest upsets in Boxing history. Getting back to Girvonta, Tank needs a big bit of luck.He is surrounded by some really top class boxers. Stay away from Timofino.. I am appalled at the comments about Adrian Broner. As far as I am concerned , Adrian had it all. He had the speed and ability to beat them all, including Floyd but he threw it all away. He kept holding back and refusing to let his hands go. He had this mental block like a speech stutter and it wrecked his career. He tried to cover it up by acting up and clowning about. The ring get really lonely when the bell sounds.

You're right about AB he most definitely had it all but just got too big for his boots...he tried to knuckle down with training after he already did the damage to himself with drugs and partying...just look how he has aged,such a wasted talent

All I'm reading in this forum is how he's short, he's unintelligent, he'll be broke soon, the car is ugly, etc. 1st of all, get in the ring with him and see just how short and unintelligent he is. 2nd of all, he has already enjoyed and spent more money than most of u will ever see in your entire lifetimes, and he's only in his mid 20's. I'm sure he's making money from deals and endorsements and real estate and stocks and all kinds of avenues on a level that u will probably never have access to in your entire lives. 3rd of all, u all wish u had a car like this, or any kinda car for that matter. U are all some ugly, weak ass, jealous mofos

People have a right to say and write what they feel and if you are hurt by it, that’s a problem because many things people are stating are true for the most part with the average boxer becoming broke and not making intelligent financial decisions. Gervonta is my top dog fighting wise from 130-135 but due to his Baltimore upbringing and being influenced by life people in general that come into loads of money make mistakes and a few individuals such as myself want the best for the young man, not mocking him but when you see foolishness on a form you respond to it! I wish him more than anything financial wisdom or wisdom in general so other young people can say now that’s someone I admire not just because he had boxing talent, but the fact he went beyond that and went next level.
