Alvarez would make this kid scream uncle. On another note, I've heard that Alvarez may fight Antonio Diaz on the Mayweather-JMM undercard. That fight would be sick. Even better than the Zab-Diaz fight.

only two pages of posts!! people definitley losing interest in jr. lahoullier is a good step up tho, his only loss is decsion to yorgey who is fighting angulo in november, so this dude is no push over. but if this ppv bombs, which it may because the under card is not as solid as previous, then that might prompt top rank/zanfer to really step it up and at least put him in with a name. which might b good or bad for the kid, but at least well know how good he really is.

              Haters

They shouldn´t fight, they are prospects. People are always dissing Chavez Jr. Don´t you understand that he has no amateur experience? And yes, he needs better opponents, but he´s getting them. Besides, hoe many so-called great fighters haven´t lost to underdogs? His record is great, no matter who the **** he has fought. And yes, he does not hug like Paulie Hugginagi and Fraud Mayweather Jr.

I like JC Jr. but the truth is, he's got almost 40 pro bouts on his resume, and none worth mentioning...

Canelo's resume isn't a whole lot more impressive, difference is "who's hungrier?"

I gotta pick Alvarez...this guy's got the same passion, hunger, and potential that the great JC Sr. had when he dominated the sport of boxing in his prime.

Anyway, I'd like to see these guys both become great in their own right, and hopefully meet one day in a super-fight

you do know most guys have over 100 amature fights before going pro? Chavez has 40 fights. He's learning on the job and making good money while doing so, something any of us would love to be able to do. He's an amature fighting pros all these haters are idiots and just want to see somebody lose over jealousy or bitterness toward Chavez jr
