hoping that moving it to Australia might help them recover at least some money.

This is the consequence of overbidding for a fight. Triller is such a mess.

Lopez is unknown and really nondescript as a boxer. I don't see this fight happening. It's not a good enough or important enough fight for Australia to sponsor it either. Screw the belts. Triller is stuck and wish they never bought into the Lopez BS project.

I read this story on espn.

I can’t disagree with the Triller people who want to maximize the profits for the fight by holding it somewhere the fight will actually sell tickets.

I also think Teo shouldn’t have to defend his titles for the first time in Australia. Can’t understand why the fight wasn’t in the Theatre at MSG to begin with.

I think we all realize that the Teo/Loma fight against as a case of the fight being the draw, not necessarily either guy. Triller seriously over bid for Teo at this stage of his career.

Hopefully he doesn’t vacate the belt.

I think Australia could fill a stadium to see one of their own try to take the belts from Teofimo.

But Triller for sure overpaid big time for this fight.

When the fight was announced I figured it'd be in Australia to maximize the gate money.
After reading a bit about Australia's totalitarian way of dealing with the plandemic I thought there's No way they can hold it there.

Now it seems like Triller realizes that the only way to turn a profit is by staging it Down Unda'.
                  Good luck.

Arum was trying to take this fight to Australia originally but Australia didn’t want Americans going there at the time. Arum knew they could fill a stadium over there and the US was shut down. But hey Teo’s still going to get his payday so he better suck it up and go over there.
