If GGG is not as drained as Oscar was which I think he would be, but if he made 154 ok he would hurt Manny.

The entire pretense of this fight was a drained 154 pound GGG, that's why they want the 154 purely as a draining tool.

a flyweight vs jr. middleweight is a very good even match up.

A drained MW is like when Oscar weighed 145lbs fight night and Manny weighed 147, the whole GGG deal was about draining him and a drained GGG is Oscar all over again which was the plan all along.

Manny started at minimum weight? And GGG has been fighting at 160 for like 20 years.

GGG underperformed in his 4 biggest fights, but still dished out a lot of punishment to his opponents in those 4 fights. Manny is much smaller than Canelo, Jacobs, and Derevy.

Maybe on his best day Manny would have a shot, but he would also be sure to take a hell of a lot of punishment, win lose or draw. Not a fair fight imo

It would end the same way Mayweather vs Kovalev or Canelo vs Usyk would. At some point size matters especially when both fighters are elite.

We’re talking about a guy who’s a small welterweight facing a career Middleweight. It’s just unrealistic.
