No, I think it's more of a case of Tyson not being prepared, focused and out of shape. Fury never wanted this fight from the get go. He is afraid of Deontay Wilder now who has been literally training his ass off for this trilogy bout.
    Man come on now
How can Fury be afraid of Wilder?
Who he fought twice before .....
He defeated Wilder last year and now...he's scared of him?
    Ahhhh Not true

      I see 2 possibilities:
      1) Isn't it the fighter's responsibility to ensure that they take precautionary measures in camp to prevent this from happening? Bob also lied that fury is fully vaccinated because dan rafael just reported that fury never got the full dose of the vaccine.

2)This pandemic can also be used as an excuse for fighters to delay/cancel fights as they are getting cold feet and are scared as hell.

Something don't add up, and I am calling BS on this. Boxing has been insulting people's intelligence for years.
Either way, it's a bad look for team fury.

the biggest sign that these are shenanigans is that there is absolutely no news out of fury's camp, except arum's statement. if this was legit, you would have had a tweet, an instapost, or big john fury coming out with a dramatic video yelling at the doubters.

If Fury vacates would that elevate the WBC interim champ to full, I hope so, just for the lolz around here.

Yes and it is absolutely what we would expect. None of the vaccines are 100% efficacious in preventing infection.

The UK has primarily used the AstraZeneca vaccine, with some Pfizer and even less Moderna. The efficacy suggested by the trial data for AstraZeneca depends on where and when it was done, but suggested anywhere between around about 60 to 80% efficacy in preventing symptomatic infection and 100% in preventing death. Real world effectiveness suggests a slightly higher % for preventing symptomatic infection, but probably a touch lower for preventing death.

A really important thing to note, then, is what they were testing for in the trial: protection against getting symptoms. The efficacy did not look at asymptomatic infection.

In the trial, half the people get placebo (known as the control group), half get vaccine.
They look at how many got symptoms out of the control, compare it to how many got symptoms out of the vaccine arm of the trial and this gives the efficacy.

The way the numbers broke down for one AstraZeneca trial was like this:
101 people showed symptoms out of 5829 in the control group. In other words, 1.7% of those in the control got symptomatic infection.
30 people showed symptoms out of 5807 in the vaccine arm. In other words, 0.5% of those in the vacine arm got symptomatic infection.

The efficacy here is the improvement in liklihood of infection in the vaccine arm compared to the control. We calculate this as:
            (1.7% -0.5%)/1.7% x 100 = 70% efficacy.

None of this suggests the vaccine definitely stops you from getting infected. It means you have a much better chance of not being infected symptomatically.

And it's also worth noting: this is all based on conditions at the time. Which is to say, the behaviour of trial respondents played a part and the prevalence of variants (or lack thereof) played a part.

We know that there are more transmissible variants doing the rounds right now than at the time of the trial. It is also possible that people are being more lax in terms of social distancing and mask-wearing right now than during the trial because of confidence in the vaccines (at the same time, it's possible people were less up to speed on social distancing at the time; difficult to say).

EDITED TO ADD: if the above is too in depth (and it probably is), the bottom line is that the vaccines do not claim to provide perfect protection nor even really protect against infection at all. They basically pre-warn the immune system about covid so that when the virus tries to enter your body, the immune system is better-prepared to fight it. This means you are much less likely to develop symptoms. That is it.

Go listen to Dr Robert Malone (the inventor of mARN vaccine) talk to Bret Weinstein on the Black Horse Podcast.

I pity those who got the shot.

Boost your immune system with medicinal plants/mushrooms and you'll be alright, plus you'll minimise risk of developping a cancer.

Host Defense by Paul Stamets is one of the best product to look for.
Cool story, except Dr Malone didn't really invent mRNA vaccines, that would be Katalin Karikó, it was Karikó and her collaborator Weissman's work which was picked up by the founders of Moderna and BioNTech. Malone was a researcher in the field, filed patents that went no where.

The story of mRNA began is a tale of personal perseverance, eureka moments in the lab, soaring expectations — and an unprecedented flow of cash in biotech.

Lots of questions have been asked? The best thing to have at this stage is the involvement of WBC, the promoters and the NBC. The commission needs to be very transparent with the investigation to see how this could happen so close to the fight date. If need be they should take a neutral tests on people involved, immediately. The findings will confirm if the fight goes on or not. This is my personal opinion. Thank you.

Look for the WBC to strip fury and mandate Wilder vs Stiverne 3 for the title.

                  They love gargling wilders balls.

So please all you ho ass wilder haters please say something now. Please. Tyson fury has been one of the least professional boxers in recent history and all you haters do is pile on wilder for why he says he lost. Fury actually ****s up the game. Champ for 3 years plus and never had a defense. Indefensible. And here he does it again but fans whine about wilders heavy suit excuse. Fury has actually in reality reneged on his fight with Joshua. Become a junkie. Waited out klitschko until older age. He just talks a lot, but he’s a liability to the actual sport.
