    the truth:cotto,pacquiao

It's amazing how much stuff ive read and commented on about the november bout between miguel and manny. im a fan of both fighters, but find myself defending cotto on most of the threads posted. lets take a honest view of this bout. Its been said cotto is shot that hes had too many wars. But manny has had just as many and actually even lost to morales in one of them. And fought to a draw with marquez after scoring three knockdowns. he has improved as far as balance and using his right hand. But too many people insist on claiming hes a master boxer. Many is a great fighter but he can be outboxed.Respect is due to pacman for his heart and warrior spirit. But dont confuse his improvement for what it really is. Just improvement.. On cotto's part there are issues of him tanking in the latter rounds and boxing backwards. people are use to seeing cotto stalk his opponents and apply pressure, so when he doesnt do that they begin talking trash.hes smart enough to know if he cant seriously hurt you then he will outbox you. its called having a plan b and being multidimensional. just to remind you between mosley ,margarito, and clottey these were men all naturally bigger then cotto. So he had to change strategy. In my opinion cotto will be able to go back to his stalking style where hes more comfortable against pac. And its been stated already cotto knows how to time faster fighters. However, things that can happen, cotto is open up the middle with uppercuts, and manny can expose that with his speed the way judah did when he had his moments in their fight. Or cotto can get caught with a shot coming in.As ive said all respect to pac hes a great fighter and can win this fight. but. i dont see the landslide everyone is predicting. In my personal opinion if pac cant serious hurt cotto hes in for a hard fight. And i doubt he can. cotto absorbed shots from mosley clottey. And if his gloves were loaded or not he went 11 rounds with margarito who is a very big welterweight.cotto can outbox pac and out**** him. So wheres the landslide. I will say another situation that can occur is cotto's eye getting cut again if its not healed properly. But i predict cotto by late stoppage. I believe once manny is getting hit hes gonna start fighting more than boxing cause of his heart and i cant see that being good for him. either way its gonna be a great fight. im sure people wont like what ive written but its just my opinion. I wish both fighters well.

I only read half way but I pretty much get the point you're making. First of all I'm a Pac fan but I'm a fan of both. Anyway this is the way I see it. A lot of peoples make it out to be a big deal if Manny lose it to Cotto. Come on, Manny was supposed to lose to Hoya and Hatton a long time ago. Manny has no business being in the ring with these guys because they are to big for him. The only person I see winning here is Manny himself. If he lose to Cotto, OK maybe Cotto is a little to big and strong for him. Maybe he need to try someone like Bradley out. What I'm trying to say is Manny is already pushing his limit too far. Yes he is that good and his balls is that big to be trying it. That's why it's a shame that Manny has to be the one to step up to the plate against Cotto when Floyd himself should be the one. Win or lose Manny is number 1 baby.....
