    Yes, I agree. For someone like Davis doing 200K is a good cash for them at this point. Davis might have ended up with 6 mil and Barrios close to 2, according to what I read. Good for them. I don't wanna see every Davis fight on PPV tho, like I've said about Spence about a year ago.

    I wanna see Davis-Cruz Gonzalez on regular showtime next, or even Russell. No more PPVs for a while.

    Make Davis-Loma. That's a big PPV.

      I could be wrong in this aspect as well;

      Boxers are the least paid athletes. We are sad when they go broke upon retiring. So, the best way for them to stand a chance is to financially maximize each fight to it's fullest. From a fans POV, I agree with you. We don't usually get out monies worth. If I'm in their shoes, oh well.

      Boxers have to understand, to make the big bucks without having credible opponents, you have to be entertaining. Build up a fan base (especially here in USA where we have too many things going on to really back any one athlete 100%) and make people want to see you....Ala Gatti.

      These fights will be soon enough

        Exactly. Davis is entertaining like Gatti. I heard Shakur was denied some venue because he's boring? Haney and Andrade better step up their game, too, even at the risk of being KOed. Gervonta takes those risks like Arturo to entertain the fans.

          I'm the first one who put Oscar's video on here. I didn't care what he was saying about the numbers, but he had a lot of other good points. Among them: Davis beats everyone at 135. Davis was a beast and Ryan was not ready. I agree with him on these points.

          Screw the PPV numbers. No fan should be happy that a fight is on PPV instead of Fox or ESPN prime time.
          Fighters make more fighting on ppv than regular TV. If you are truly someone's "biggest fan," you should have no problem with them maximizing their earning potential.

          As a society in whole, we want everything free. Are sports tickets free? Concert tickets? Movies? That's not realistic.

          The reality is entertainers want to be paid as much as they can. The good thing about ppv is that you can decide for yourself whether or not you want to pay. I'm a fan of Tank, and I chose not to order this last fight, because I just didn't have much interest in it.

            But as we see, some people will take the word of a degenerate crack-head, if it means painting Crawford in a better light.
            I just don't see how anyone - barring Canelo AJ Manny etc - could sell more than 100k PPVs against that type of opponent. Been wrong before, but I don't really see the angle that Tank is a bigger star than Loma, Crawford, GGG, Lopez etc.
