Wilder himself, in his heart and more importantly in his head, does not believe he can win. Thus, the excuses and non-sensical accusations. He knows he has no chance against a normal, regular Fury, so he needs to believe in some sort of surnaturel cause to justify his demise.

the problem for Wilder is the massive skill differential between the two of them.
I would expect Fury to win the exchanges because he has far superior boxing skills.
that’s the essence of boxing.
Wilder does tend to surprise fighters with his ability to close the gap and land from distance and he managed this a couple of times against Fury in the second fight. I think his best shot is to hope that he can catch Fury from something from range. But this would seem to require an element of misjudgement from Fury.

Malik was an average fighter - training a fighter with average ability but also has a world class right hand. I don’t see any material difference.Comment

That's where I am and what I've said elsewhere. I think there's something to be said for Wilder's approach being to make this an all out brawl and come out flying. It far from guarantees victory, but he can't outbox Fury if Fury boxes and if Fury jumps on him again Wilder most certainly cannot fight going backwards. So, the only strategy I see that potentially counters whatever Fury does is to not let Fury choose the style at all.If Wilder stops Fury, it will be in less than five rounds; otherwise, it will not happen. I'm thinking Hagler/Hearns or Hearns/Duran. Wilder mounts an all out effort resulting in an early K.O. of Fury, or else there won't be a K.O. of Fury regardless of how long it goes.Comment

Why is it Scott has his fist balled up like he fighting some dam body, he has been KO'ed by a who's who already! LMAO; now as a chief second you can experience what others were trying to get yo ass to do! Box, catch the shots, move your dam head, keep moving and stop laying sounds familiar huh? Welcome to losing in both areasComment

Fury knows that the way to counter Wilder's punching power is to keep him off balance and moving backwards. I don't believe anything Wilder is learning prepares him to stop Fury from doing what he did in the last fight. If Wilder loses again to Fury it doesn't mean though that he can't beat the other heavyweights, including Joshua. It just means that Fury has his number.Comment

Do you think he'll do something original like biting off a piece of Fury's ear?
