No it's not about the most guaranteed cash. It really depends on the risk/reward and risk tolerance. DAZN might have more guaranteed money but ppv has higher potential.

It also has lower potential. If PBC and Fox are so confident then they can offer to match DAZN and add the upside dependant on PPV sales. But the PBC won't put the money where their mouths are.

Just like when Haymon called 120 million Floyd training camp money and Winkle said they wanted the fight on PPV and not on an app so millions can watch it only to then make ZERO offers and Wilder went on to get paid alot less than that Floyd training camp money. Just like that they didn't actually really want the fight.
