I got Mosley by decision but Clottey is a very live underdog and I might have picked Clottey to win this fight before Mosley got together with Richardson because his gameplans with his father always seemed to be pretty much the same thing every fight and when that plan didn't work he'd become discouraged and lose, now with Richardson he'd have a plan A, B, C and D.

people are going to be shocked..clottey will win with scores like 116-112 115-113..also dont be suprised if mosley gets put on his ass with a flash knockdown because of clottey's timing, which is underrated. and mosley's sometimes wild punches that leave him exposed wont help him in this fight..i cant believe how many people are so sold on mosley to win, people seem to wanna deny that clottey is a top tier fighter for some reason. dont be fooled by that margarito win, i dont much stock into that win considering margarito got caught trying to cheat and he all of the sudden looks like a D level fighter. also take into account that mosley 4 months previous to his fight with margarito had an extremely hard time with mayorga (i had mayorga winning up until the KO) who was washed up and never was anything special, he was nothing but a crude brawler. so yes in my opinion mosley is more past it than some realize, and hes also going to be coming off almost a year layoff when he gets into the ring with clottey, not good.

you are seriously overrating clottey. clottey is tough, but he's proven to be beatable.

anyone is beatable, im not overrating him at all, im stating facts that alot on here seem to either not want to accept or look at or just dont understand boxing. when i say timing i mean his jab, which is very good and he knows when to use it, everytime mosley leaves himself open hes going to get popped in the face with the jab. also clottey is going to smother mosley's punches on the inside because mosley is more of a wide puncher than a short puncher, mosley needs room to get his punches off and when he does find room clottey's defense is going to be there and mosley wont be able to get off any punches. you need to catch clottey in the exchanges, which requires good timing which mosley lacks. cotto has good timing and could barely find any opportunity to get off punches on clottey. mosley has explosive power and good handspeed but he has poor defense and doesnt have good timing skills and gets easily frustrated if things dont go his way. now im not saying a KO win isnt a possibility for mosley because he hits hard and anything can happen. but im breaking down there styles and how they are going to clash, and i see clottey outpointing mosley, especially at this point in mosley's career, cause i feel he is more past his prime than the general public and media think so.

obviously you're going off the winky/mosley fights.

the problem is that winky was too big for mosley at 154 lbs. clottey is a big WW, but he aint no winky in skills or athleticism.

winky can keep coming foward late in fights. clottey gases and doesn't know how to finish strong.

actually i think winky and clottey are completely different fighters, and im not saying the winky-mosley fights are a blueprint for clottey..im talking about mosley-clottey, THAT IS IT im not comparing winky to clottey, even if the winky-shane fights never happened i would still be making this same analysis for clottey-mosley. clottey doesnt "gas" in his fights, if you go back and watch the championship rounds in his fight with cotto he was throwing punches but wasnt throwing as many as earlier in the fight because cotto was RUNNING, not boxing, RUNNING there is a difference, you cant land punches if someone is running from you, so why throw and miss punches? if anyone "gassed" it was cotto, hence why he was running. and if your also referring to the clottey-margarito fight, im pretty sure you saw him whipping margarito's ass the first 4 or 5 rounds, and then all of the sudden he stopped throwing punches, because he hurt his hand which wasnt bull**** because he literally went from ripping margarito with combinations to not throwing punches at all. that is not a sign of gassing.

I think Clottey loses because Shane is simply too active.
