He should have fought Kosta Tszyu. 140 is the only division Mayweather fought in and never became THE champion or THE man to beat so to speak. Floyd held the lineal titles at 130, 135, 147 and 154 but he never held it at 140.

Not saying he necessarily ducked Tszyu but I wish they would have found a way to make that one happen. Floyd could have potentially avenged Roger’s loss too.

As for the other guys who he fought later on, it’s just typical Floyd strategy when selecting opponents, he played the game very well in that regard. Minimised risk and maximised reward.

The guys he didn’t fight aren’t all that important IMO asides from Tszyu. I’m not too bothered we never got Mayweather vs Margarito or Williams tbh. The Williams fight would have been interesting stylistically but I can’t say it’s a fight I ever desperately wanted to see back in the 2000’s.
