If Canelo faces Beterbiev soon, nobody even his haters can question his resume.

    Wow that’s impressive..

Beterbiev is 36. With an exception of BJ Saunders, Canelo has never fought any elite level fighter when that fighter was at the peak of his career. Not a single one. And that is if we want to call BJ elite - I can see an argument, but I don't see BJ getting into HOF. So, I'm sure if Canelo and Beterbiev fight, Canelo will win most likely on points (for one, Canelo doesn't lose on points, so that's that). So, yeah, Canelo will probably be considered ATG at the end of his career, but if you start digging into nuances as a purist, then you'd have to take points away for picking on those who are on decline.
If so, could you recommend a true elite fighter in the peak form that will be a worthy choice for Canelo from the purist point of view?

And of course out come the Canelo haters. Typical. IMO it's easily his most dangerous fight... but he keeps growing as a fighter... so he could conceivably do well vs Beterbiev. And BTW, if he beats Beterbiev... don't be surprised if he retires. He's already expressed a few times how he loves being around the house with his young family.

Funny thing happen in light heavyweight everyone’s rushing to fight beterbiev but avoiding the best light heavy Bivol. No one will sign and fight Bivol why is that? Canelo won’t either he does something pitchers are terrified of box with extreme precision and power.

Why did you conveniently leave that out of your narrative?
The fight with Cotto was allowed to proceed. GGG stepped aside and was supposed to fight the winner. Canelo got cold feet. All of the sudden there were multiple excuses.

He didn't fight him immediately after the Cotto fight because he was shook. Pretty clear.

He waited him out. No nerves hit, I don't dream of studio apartments like you. I'm living in a house that I paid for. You'll make it some day.

or he was not ready yet, like how Pacquiao waited until Dela Hoya and Hatton was old and washed up before he fought them

The fight isn't going to happen. Canelo needs to keep up appearances. Expect to hear from Canelo's people about how they sent a contract to the agent of Beterbiev's agent and never got a response.
