He can acheive that with a win over bivol or Joe smith as well, who are both younger than beterbiev.

But something tells me you wouldnt crown him with a win over either of them

Easy fight for Canelo. This was the guy all the haters were saying he avoided when he moved up to fight Kovalev (even though team Bertebiev we’re the ones who turned the fight down). But now that they see that there’s actually a chance of the fight happening, all of a sudden Bertebiev is old and not the monster they said he was Keep hating Fanboys

        Canelo is the man.
I loved the way he cut through the UK boxers.
Oh Boy, Ryan, Liam, Rocky, Amir, then Matthew started fouling and that was a mistake but he did go the distance. Calum survived but had a right arm like Popeye. Yes lads,
He is pretty damd good and he let's you see how it is done properly. One of the cleanest boxers of all time. Vivo Csnelo.

Didn't Beterbiev turn him down already a couple years ago?

Absolutely I would! An elite few have done what Canelo has done SRL being one of them. However I don’t know if any have moved up from MW and captured two titles at LHW.

Thing is he isn’t boxing old at all. He doesn’t have wear on him at the pro ranks. He literally has 16 pro fights. In addition he is recognized as the best active light heavyweight by The Ring, TBRB and Boxrec. This is why UFC fans think Boxing “fans” are an absolute joke (most are). They argue like emotional pimple faced teen queens, have man crushes over professionals they’ve never met in their lives and then bash successful people to feel good about their own pathetic, miserable lives.

It’s sad to almost the extent that it is clinical.

Funny that as soon as Benavides got stripped, Clenelo was soo dam eager to fight for that belt. He drained an old Cotto, fought a washed up Chavez, waited out GGG which we all know beat him twice; fought da weakest champ in Yildrim & Kovalev, let's not forget a smaller Amir Khan. Fight da hungry lions like Andrade, Charlos Benavidez, maybe even Munguia, Gilberto Ramirez at a catchweight since u love those so much
...He drained an old Cotto...Wrong! It was Cotto who wanted the fight at 154. Before that it was Cotto who drained Maravilla in their fight. From Ring Magazine account, "Being that he is boxing's third most attractive pay-per-view star behind Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, Cotto demanded the catchweight, that he be introduced second and enter the ring second, and that the promotion be billed "Cotto-Martinez." Get your facts right before you state babbling about things you know nothing about.

I will tell you how they spin it. The playbook is always the same. At first, they jump and scream that Canelo is avoiding fighter X and that Canelo is afraid of him. Next, when Canelo makes an offer to fighter X and fighter X avoids Canelo, they complain that Canelo is trying to cheat him out of some money. When the fight is made, they start complaining that fighter X is too old, not very good, has been exposed you name it. Instead, Canelo should fight fighter Y. When Canelo is scheduled to fight fighter Y, they complain that fighter Y is too old, not very good, has been exposed, and so on. Keep in mind hating Canelo is a money-making cottage industry. YouTube cretins generate a lot of revenue spouting hate about Canelo. Their programming is basically ignored until they post something hateful about Canelo. This site is no exception. The more clicks the more money they make. There are clowns who have been posting here who are silent on every boxing topic until they get an opportunity to say ****** and hateful things about Alvarez.

                      ...

Canelo beats Beterbiev, plain and simple... he is on a different level

Beterbiev has power... but he is slow, and straight up-and-down... no special effects

but imo, the Beterbiev talk is telling Plant to shlt or get off the pot
