    Cruiserweight shouldn't exist...Or should it?

Especially because you now have the btch ass WBC starting bridgerweight division, but even without bridgerweight, Cruiserweight is still far & away the worst pos division in boxing history to me. It shouldn't exist period, its nothing more than a way for HWs to boil down to duck smoke. I genuinely hardly ever watch that sht division because the fighters suck & the fights are as lame as womens boxing.

Or am I mistaken on this? should it exist?(or is it good for boxing?)

It is a poor division, generally always is, usually say the world number 3 or so CW, wouldn't be top 30 in HW. Nash out - boxing expert.

Cruiserweight should exist but the weight limit should be the original 190… or maybe even 185.

It makes sense to have a division between heavyweight and light heavyweight.

The jump from 175 to unlimited is too great. There is also a body type that exists between 175 and Tyson Fury.

It would make sense for a Beterbiev type to have somewhere to go before he’s fighting Tyson Fury.

But the jump from 175 to 200 is also too great. It’s 25 pounds. 15 pounds was already the biggest jump in boxing when crusierweight was 190. 10 pounds to 185 would also be the biggest jump in boxing.

The 200 pound weight limit allows 6-foot-5 heavyweights to fight at crusierweight. At 200 pounds, the division is unnecessary. Light heavyweights can’t really be expected to jump into the division and be competitive. It’s become a heavyweight practice division. Bridgerweight will also be a heavyweight practice division.

So at 200, crusierweight isn’t necessary. At 190 (or preferably 185) it’s totally needed.

I agree with you on the jump. They should bump it back down to 185-190lbs

          Cruiserweight (200 lbs.)

          WBO: Lawrence Okolie

          IBF: Mairis Briedis

          WBA: Arsen Goulamirian*

          WBC: Ilunga Makabu

*Ryad Merhy is the WBA "regular" cruiserweight champion

This has to be among the worst list of champs in a division I've ever seen
