Again this is not about the fighter, but the announcer.

He’s a company man. I rated him as a fighter but he just pushes the company narrative as an announcer.

I think he's boring and rambles on with a monotone voice. Usually he's reading from the script but at least still mentions the opponent's work sometimes unlike some guys.

Improving Actually!

I think Showtime has the best Boxing Broadcast Team with Brian Custer as a the Host, Mauro Ranallo as Play by Play and The Great Al Bernstein as Color Commentary while Abner just jumps in with a fighters prospective and give his opinion on what adjustments he think a fighter should make and what he think the fighters should do to get the win. Of course Paulie was better at it and he should've never gotten fired I don't think but Yeah I think Abner is getting better at it the more fights he calls

I’m not a big fan. They need to hire Antonio Tarver IMO he was the best analyst when he was calling fights. I don’t why he is black listed.
