My evaluation of Colbert: I was watching his fight casually here and there. Before the fight I didn't think his opponent was an upgrade from Gamboa. Gamboa might've won this fight, even by KO. I don't see a star but he can end up as semi-name, if I'm very generous.

I personally thought I saw most of his potential against that average opponent. I think what you see is what you get: featherfisted, no elite skills, special effects, or attitude. Hair color doesn't cut it for me.

    C+ fighter.

I'm speaking facts, nobody cared about Chris Colbert. If it wasnt for Colbert hating on the 'Bronze-Bomber' you nor I would even be here, I have enough integrity to admit that. After yesterdays boring, mediocre performance Colbert's fifteen minutes of fame is up -- but you never know he might continue to clout-chase Deontay Wilder and further his lame career.

This clown is also a COON, if he had spoke against Tyson Fury, nobody would of gave a damn. This Uncle-Tom fails to understand that the man wants to see black on black hate. I'm kicking real facts.

Lopez and Loma took the challenge the rest need to show up

This site is becoming a bit racist with some type of agenda. How can the wrtiter say that Colbert had a brilliant performance??? He basically pot shotted the last rounds and never risked anything to entertain the fans in attendance. He won against an unknown Mongolian with a two week notice and a weight or two classes smaller. The size difference was obvious. Sure, he has that athletic ability and nice moves but no heart, no power and a suspect chin.

So easy to spot. You truly contribute nothing on these forums. Your main was banned and we spotted you before you were able to get 10 posts back in. Who says I’m a fan of anyone? I’m spotting the habitual ban boy and calling it out so everyone knows.

Before you offer a retort you may wish to proofread what you write. Illiteracy run within the family? I’m placing you on 8th grade at best. Kid? I’ve probably got drawers older than you. Now move along and go play in traffic and let the grown ups have worthwhile conversations about boxing.

Solid performance for Primetime. He dominated Nyambayar (albeit on short notice) I scored the fight 118-110 for Colbert. He looked very sharp, and his jab was blazing. Compared to the Russell Jr. fight (which I scored 116-112 Russell), this performance was above average. Considering I believe Russell to have faster hand speed and better ring IQ. It was impressive that Nyambayar was hesitant to get off first due to that lighting fast jab Colbert was touching him with, from both stances I might add. Tug has a chin on him man. Don’t know if Tug wasn’t ready for the physicality of the higher weight division or if Colbert lacks the power to obtain the stoppage. But, it was slightly concerning he wasn’t able to put his smaller opponent away. Nonetheless, I’d give the performance a B-, and would like to see Colbert vs. one of the champs next or Gary Russell Jr (if he truly wants to move up as he has been saying).
