Froch got a pretty hard draw in round 2 and 3. Both fights are winnable, but they certainly won't be easy.

Froch got a pretty hard draw in round 1 as well. Dirrell is leagues better skill-wise than Carl. But Froch has the one thing that Ward, Dirrell, Taylor and to a smaller extent Abraham don't; defined unmistakable heart. Abraham has been so much better than anyone he's fought he hasn't really been tested. Granted he suffered a broken jaw against Miranda and kept coming, but trully thats the only rough spot he's had in his entire career. Froch has been in wars and behind and came back to win and kept fighting. The greatest indicator of a fighter to me, is when they land their best shots on their opponents, and their opponents punch them in the face in return. It's how they respond from that adversity is how you gauge their inner strength, which so many times determines the success of a fighter. Froch WILL MAKE Dirrell realize if he's a fighter or not. But I think Carl Froch is the low man skill-wise in this entire tournament, and if the other guys have the same intestinal fortitude as he does (Taylor doesn't) then he is in trouble, but if they don't (Kessler does) if will do good. I see Kessler as the man winning it, but with Dirrell as the man who has the chance to surprise. Andre Ward, doesn't have the pop to win this thing. And Jermain Taylor doesn't have the stamina, heart, or chin to win it. I would've LOVED to see Librado Andrade in here or yes Lucian Bute. But imagine a Andrade/Froch fight. I mean c'mon who wouldn't be entertained by that?Comment
