  • Comments Thread For: Mark Magsayo vs. Julio Ceja Set For Spence-Pacquiao Undercard August 21

Another Filipino fighter trained by Freddie Roach will try to take a significant step toward a title shot August 21. BoxingScene.com has learned that undefeated Mark Magsayo and Julio Ceja have agreed to meet in a WBC featherweight elimination match on the Errol Spence Jr.-Manny Pacquiao undercard at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. FOX will broadcast the 12-round, 126-pound bout between the Philippines' Magsayo and Mexico's Ceja as part of a telecast that'll air before the pay-per-view portion of the Spence-Pacquiao show.

Who ? Plus how is it an eliminator when Ceja is 0-2 in his last fight. O like Davis became a champion by beating Cuellar that had just lost a fight.

The pac vs Spence fight is selling out very quickly and will likely be sold out. compared to wilder vs fury 3 which is in the same building and only a few weeks away they allready sold way more tickets than them but they have a decent undercard.

I hope pac vs Spence doesn’t have a undercard that makes me show up a half an hour before the the main event because I got tickets lol.

I heard Ceja had a draw against world champion Brandon Figueroa in his last fight

Magsayo's team better have put some strict stipulations if Ceja misses weight. One of the most pathetic misses last time out where he was even overweight for the next division smh.

there is a nuanced difference between national pride and being a full blown obsessive weirdo
