In reality he needs to come in at 225 or something like that and shoot for the knock out in the first 4 rounds. This is his only chance
What weight should Wilder come in at?Do you believe Furys claim he'll weigh 300 lbs & eat Wilder alive like Boar balls?(seriously)

Truth^^
If Wilder shows up in shape to go 12 rounds on strong legs (which he might not)....it is still Fury's fight to lose. Wilder's only hope is the plan A you mention and it will only work if Fury loses focus, which he might.
Still, i'm looking forward to this fight, no matter.Comment

220s and yeah, if Tyson's trying to do what he says he's going to do I reckon he's going to drop even more of his jerky ali inspired nonsense and pick up some higher level puncher's techniques. Like preloaded hooks and such. Fighting out of mixed up stances that's neither orthodox nor southpaw but rather a mix. Not even trying to be faster because he has better timing.
A mix of second career foreman and marciano. Marciano went at people and Foreman made them come to him, one's tiny for a HW the other's pretty close to modern HWs. What the both do in droves is deceive their opponent into taking advantage of a flaw that's true, like for Foreman it's true he's not fast, or for marciano it's true he blocks with his face, but, what's essential is the opponent doesn't know the puncher has an answer for the flaw so doesn't have any motivation to get rid of it but rather uses it to entice their opponent into handing them a KO win.
Smother punching, more dedicated posturing, Tyson could be fixing to walk up to Wilder and knock him straight the **** out. Got no reason to believe he can't pick up something similar to the Sucka which is totally different but also exactly like the plexus. One's for the dome the other for the body but both are surprise KO punches.
Fury did that Ali **** less in the second and claims he's spent 18 months learning more about punching. If that mother ****er dips to his power side and throws and overhead, Wilder's face is gonna get a much bigger dent.
Wilder need to go more Dempsey himself. Be faster, got to the body, hurt him first. What really puts guys like Jack over as greats is refusal to give ground. By all accounts Dempsey had a good defense he just never used it in a fight. Or rather, he used it very aggressively. That's what Wilder need to learn. Keep punching, like Jack and Rocky, just keep punching. Punch and move to a new posture and punch again. Over and over and over again. Every new posture does two things or it's useless to Jack. It moves you so's you take less damage even though you're still getting hit pretty often, similar but not the same as rolling. Also it need to give you favorable juxta in power. Leverage or easy access to a soft target. Jack Dempsey will def trade you hitting his chest for him nailing your ribs. That's what Wilder needs to bring.
Shouldn't be a long fight for sure.Comment
