There is a difference between making a clown act or clowns of yourself and somebody else pricing a point of what a clown you are. That is a tactics of Fury to defend himself of others mockery.
This doesn't ring true. Fury clearly didn't give a flying fak about feeling awkward -- he was wearing a backwards cap no shirt and clown trousers. This is not the dress of a man who cares about feeling awkward. You don't have to be particularly discerning to see that Fury's metric of success or failure in this environment is entirely binary. Turn away first? You lose. By his own measure, he won. Same as with the sauna and Klitschko.
Wilder, meanwhile, made a point of initiating a drawn-out stare down. And then backed out of it. In his heart he knows that if it lasted eight hours, Fury would still be there. It's puerile, but it is what it is.
As for Wilder, he stayed just long enough to show how serious he is and left before spoiling the situation into absurd.
I tell you, Fury was shaken by Wilders long serious state. But he was shattered by how confidently he turned and went away.Comment

Aww Elie, you are still suffering from a condition know as 'fan girl ptsd' from the last fight. I know you were on suicide watch when you were hospitalized and I'm glad you made it back. It's great you decided you and your psychiatrist are going to watch the fight together.fury-wilder_1623802104.jpg
Gypsy-Bum, this photo says it all : when was the last time you had your hands behind your back during a weigh-in? Your body language suggest you are hiding something, this is the pose of a criminal when police arrest them. You know what you did Gypsy-Fraud, Deontay is going to beat you like you stole something.

He was several minutes into absurd... Wilder tried to make a point by trying to out-stare Fury and turned away first. As I said, it's puerile -- I don't think it counts for much -- but in Fury's head, he will consider himself to have won this encounter. Just as he considered it a psychological victory to out-stay Klitschko in the sauna.

The one thing I can guarantee you is that Fury was not shattered by the way Wilder turned away. You are projecting what you want to see on to what actually happened.Comment

This pretty much.
Both of them are loud mouths but Fury is a skilled loudmouth. Whereas Wilder is there for anyone to beat who puts the pressure on him. All the people Wilder fought were scared of that right hand, I dont know why it took a competent boxer to figure out hey, this man cant fight on the inside at alll, lets put the pressure on him and he'll fold.Comment
