how would him losing make him a better fighter?

Well, I believe that his first loss will devastate him. I don't think he's prepared for what will go along with losing. The doubt and with his big mouth, the criticism. Let's say he gets robbed in a fight or he gets caught with a punch and loses a bout. I'm convinced he'd come back hungrier and more determined than we've seen him in recent years.

      Nobody's perfect.

I agree, I don't want to see Mayweather lose, and I don't think Marquez will defeat him.. but if he does lose; better believe Money is coming back a better fighter, destroying everyone at 147.

there's a lot of ALTS posting in here.....

Smitty-i feel like these last couple fights could cement your lega(cut off abruptly)

mr.counterfeit cash-absolutely not, absolutely not. uhhhh... uhh i feel like uhhh.....

Its as if he's trying to convince us that beating diego corrales, old oscar, hatton, zab judah, castillo, & baldomir equals G.O.A.T status.

Even he doesnt believe what he's saying.

Smitty-i feel like this is a fight where you could finally get into a firefight(cut off abruptly)

Mr.counterfeit cash- no, no, no, ive been in firefights before, uhhh .... you know... uhhh

Proceeds to NOT give examples of fights & fighters where he got into this alleged firefight.

What's your point? Everyone they put in front of him he beats.
Plus, why do you think he returned?
He returned to show he's the best. He will beat Marquez, which really is a tune up to him. He won't admit it because he wants the fight to sell. He will beat Pacquiao. And he will dominate at 147. Floyd is not dumb, he fully understands that he will only be facing top fighters for the remainder of his career. His layoff was a rest, nothing more, nothing less.

It's unfortunate but only in the face of adversity is the true strength of ones character revealed.

his 1st loss will do no more harm to him than what happened to Roy. when he does lose, if he loses, then his skills has declined and he needs to transition from the sport.

U gotta think, he doesn't fight dumb like SRL did against Duran ever. Roy was the most gifted athletic boxer ever. but once those reflexes left him a bit, he got caught. Same with Ali, Holmes, tyson, etc. Floyd unlike those other fighters can fight in many different ways. so if he loses, it's because he has lost a step, just like the past greats.

he is not afraid to lose, but he also recognizes that he gets a lot of luster because people want to see him lose that 0 and will pay to see him lose it. Once he loses, some of that luster is gone. and he loves and thrives on that pressure. If he loses, he'll prolly try for a rematch and give it up
