I've been keeping an eye on him since the Netflix CounterPunch documentary but I am now a full-blown ride-or-die Colbert backer.
I really enjoyed that interview as well. It’s unusual for me to sit down through a full interview and to finish it, but Colbert really made it worth watching. I’m grateful for the counterpunch documentary as well. It put me on to him and I’ve been keeping a close eye on him whenever he fights or gets the spotlight. He’s a cool guy both in and out of the ring.

"Where Brooklyn at?" (Salute to Skyzoo) I hope Colbert wins this in fine fashion! Chris Colbert vs. Xavier Martinez would be a good one! Hopefully Tank vacates that title @ 130!, so they can fight for the WBA "Super" Champion title!

Good fight to make. I have Colbert winning in a shutout performance and possibly stopping Martinez in that one.

I would love to see Colbert vs. GRJ @ 130 too! Maybe if it's for a title @ 130, GRJ will MAN UP?

I feel like Colbert is a bad style for Russell. Prime Time is athletic as f*** and has dazzling hand speed with quick foot speed as well. He’d be able to hurt GRJ in any moment. I don’t want to be quick to say that GRJ will avoid him, but at the rate that he fights, I’d be surprised if he even took the challenge. Colbert is the most dangerous fighter in the division.

We have to see how Colbert handles "King Tug!" Too bad we'll probably never see Colbert vs. Stevenson @ 130! Barclay's would be lit!!!

Talented yes…however those with super fast hands that do not carry power are susceptible to elite power punchers. Elite power punchers are excellent with timing. When they know someone is faster they will get timing down, punch between the flurries and find that home run.

ive had arguments with low iq dolts that suggested that oscar is better at making stars than al haymon.....

al haymon has a ton of big names in boxing on his roster....which means he has to find a ton of dates, fights, money and tv time for them.....he has alot of guys to feed and find work for.....but when al has the time and need to start pushing his prospects he will do so.....right now he has a bunch of names that are at the peak or near the end of their run.....so the time will soon come......hes already showing you he can do it with tank....and colbert will soon get the push.....

when people say "who will tank fight" blah blah....dont worry...al haymon is good at what he does....good/juicy fights will emerge....with or without ryan/arums guys(because they dont want to play ball)

Colbert will get the job done against Tug. A fight against Stevenson at Barclays would sell like crazy. It’d be an intense chess match and I’m sure both guys won’t shy away from fighting each other. This division is loaded with competition right now, but Stevenson and Prime Time stand at the top in terms of talent and skill.

You don't think Valdez is at the same level? Even after that performance against Berchelt?
