Arthur Abraham Plans To Conquer The "Super Six"

Pavlik KO 7 Taylor
Pavlik UD Taylor
Froch KO 12 Taylor
Abraham KO 10 Taylor
Abraham hits harder than Froch and Pavlik IMO, Taylor's suspect chin can't hold up for 12 rounds, he's getting KTFO again.
King Arthur by late KO

I think he's one of the most overrated fighters out there. His skills are sorely lacking, he mainly just relies on a good punch. Guys like this always eventually get exposed. I couldn't see him winning a single round against someone like Hopkins or Calzaghe.
I will not be shocked at all if Taylor upsets him. Him getting KO'ed as the fight goes on because of fatigue is certainly possible but since Abraham doesn't pressure and has a low punch output he should be able to relax more in the ring and thus not get as tired. With the right gameplan I think Taylor could easily win the fight. He has a 4" or so height advantage along with a reach advantage to go along with his great jab. He could try and steal rounds by throwing off some hard combinations and using the remaining time by staying on the outside and working his jab and moving around the ring which would allow him to conserve his energy as well. Most of Abraham's opponents make the mistake of just standing right in front on him because he allows them to tee off and they get comfortable doing this and while their in range he fires back.Last edited by βetamax; 09-05-2009, 01:02 AM.
