Rangey pressure fighters more accustom to the weight, with tough chins, is not at all suited to Abraham.

I can't see him KOing Kessler and Froch. Outpointing Froch maybe, outpointing Kessler very unlikely with the work rates.

So him winning the tourney, quite fairly not favourite.

Abraham is not winning the tournament. I don't think he'll make the final four, won't win fights outside of Germany. I think one of the youngsters will be in the finals, I wouldn't be surprised if they won. No one in this tournament has faced top fighters consistently but Taylor. I think he'll do better than what most expect.

I honestly think that Tayor's gonna win it all. He's got more skills and the toughtest resume than anybody else. I think he learned a lot from his loss to froch. I see him winning big throughout the whole fight, and milking it the last two rounds. Taylor definitely wins though.

No way AA beats Kessler for mine. No way in hell.

            Kessler has got this.

            WAR KESSLER!

Taylor is my favorite, hell I'm even going with him vs AA.

You're right. I'm shocked ward is even in this tournament. He'll get schooled by some of these vets.

Abraham might beat Taylor, but he isn't winning the tourney. No way, no how.

Re-watching the AA/Oral fight, I'm even less convinced that Abraham is worthy of all the hype he gets.

He's heavy handed, obviously, but aside from that... his boxing isn't great... even his heralded defense is overrated. Sure, he's got the turtle shell thing going, but once he opens up offensively, if you can slip his punches then he is a sitting duck for counters as he is stiff and has zero head movement. During most of his offensive bursts he doesn't protect himself AT ALL. And even in his turtle defense, his body is open for jabs to his stomach and hooks around his forearms.

His punch output is mediocre at best. It may improve with him moving up in weight, but it may not. There are plenty of examples of guys whose activity didn't improve when they moved up; Taylor is the perfect example. Sure, punch output may not matter when you are knocking out bums in Germany, but when you can't knock out your opponent and you aren't scoring points (or being donated points by hometown judges), you're ****ed.

So no, I'm not buying into the hype just yet. He may convince me in the Taylor fight, of course, but the only reason I'm even expecting him to beat Taylor at this point is because of Taylor's inability to fight for more than six rounds. If Taylor shocks everyone by showing up in tremendous shape, then watch out.
