Bernard Hopkins: Michael Vick Should Replace Donovan McNabb

Mcnabb is a such a better qb than Vick, Bernard needs to STFU. Besides the obvious of Vick being out of the game for a few years Mcnabb still has a better arm and its not even close. Look at completions, completion %, yards, and tds. Also, Mcnabb is a vet and can actually has led teams deep into the playoffs year after year which Vick has not. Mcnabb is also a smarter quarterback and would throw far less ints than Vick. All Vick had for him a few years back was speed and that certainly hasn't gotten any better over the last two years of inactivity. Either box or stay out of the media Hopkins because you know **** about football.

Mcnabb will always be the eagles starter and is one of the best qbs in the league...

Its not fair that he gets all the blame for the eagles not winning a super bowl with all the chances they had.

But if mcnabb goes down id rather have vick start the kevin kolb

Donovan is a clown. He begs for Vick to come there and Vick has 4 plays in a Preseason game and McNabb cries about it. Thats so girly and a ***** move. I can see already that he is trying to make Vick his scapegoat. On the 1st play of the game Donovan had someone wide open accross the middle and he overthrew him but yet its Vick's fault? Come on now, dont even start it. Thats why Hopkins doesnt like him. He does Uncle Tom stuff like that. Say what you want about TO but I think he was 100% right in Philly. He deserved a new contract and instead of Donovan taking up for him, he sided with the Front Office even though they were always millions under the cap every year. As long as he got his money though, he would be a tom.

Dont get me wrong, I use to think the Philly fans were clowns for ripping Donovan but he's regressed every year lately. In that Vick Preseason game, you saw who McNabb was. He will make some great plays but he misses a ton of open guys now on the regular. I use to think he was the most accurate guy Ive ever seen when he was in College and he started his career that way but now he's very inaccurate. Also, I think people on here are too hard on Vick. He struggled alot before he went to Prison but alot of that was Atlanta hiring Greg "take a Knapp" as there OC. He sucks and is a clown. Thats why Vick struggled. Under Dan Reeves he was progressing real well. I also think the guy who wrote this article is an idiot. Vick is the most hated man? Did you see all the cheers he got when he came onto the field last week? He said Vick lost a playoff game because he was too cold? Thats the same Vick who was the 1st guy in a million years to win a playoff game at Lambeaugh field when Favre was still in his hay day. Sure McNabb beat him in the next game but dont act like it was all Donovan. Jim Johnson's D has always been on point and Westbrook is arguably the best weapon in the NFL.
