Why fight Mosley when you can fight the man that beat him?

Why would Floyd care about fighting a ranked WW? He doesn't now.

Cotto didn't beat Molsey, he got a gift in Rican MSG. Mosley even said had the fight been on the west coast he would have won. Same thing applies for Clottey.

Pacman doesn't care about his 140 title, if he did he would have accepted Mosley's offer.
