Pretty sure he isn't. Just wanted to mention that again.

He's a tough but limited fighter. Man, Verdejo was lighting his ass up before Nakatani got to him. People started to overrate him just because he gave Teofimo some issues. He is what he is but he just takes too much punishment. Respect to him though.

Yeah, he is a tough guy for sure. That's his best quality.

So he got his ass whooped by a guy with a 396-1 amateur record, 2 Gold medals, most likely HOF bound, top P4P fighter, and he is not a good fighter?

You guys stay unintentionally putting fighters on a pedestal, and undermining the highly skilled fighters.

Lomachenko was probably the first fighter who went in there vs Nakatani without underestimating him. Nakatani was just unlucky to get a Lomachenko with a chip on his shoulder and who was 100% looking for the stoppage.

When you have a fighter like Lomachenko looking to prove a point, you’re probably getting your ass kicked.

If Lomachenko isn’t feeling himself, and doesn’t go into a fight overconfident, he can go 10-0 vs 135lbs right now. It seems like he allows his fans and media to blow his head all the way up and think he can go in there in what ever physical state and win 120-108. He found out he can’t fight through a hurt shoulder, the hard way.

Obviously Lomachenko is levels above him, that's not the point. Nakatani was taking a beating and getting lit up by Verdejo last fight out as well. Nakatani suffered a broken orbital bone that fight and just takes too much punishment.

His style isn't one meant to last long and he's going to continue taking a lot of punishment if he continues on.

Yes, it’s boxing, you will take some punishment in the sport. Some fighters take less punishment, some take more. Fact is neither Teofimo Lopez, the 135 Ring champion, or Felix Verdejo, were able to finish this guy who takes “too much punishment”. Lomachenko did. Takes too much punishment but has never been stopped until the Lomachenko fight.

Lomachenko is still a p4p fighter and I respect his career.. I'm not trying to insult him indirectly.
