AJ vs Martin was more of a belt exchange ceremony than a fight.

Nothing in the fight Whyte but pure risk, he has learn his lessons from the Povetkin fight, why fight someone like those? so i wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't look Martin's way and isn't he with PBC? Whyte is now doing what others do by looking at soft touches with decent records, it worked for others for many years. Get a guy with an undefeated resume even though he hasn't done much or beat anyone of note. You had parker for example that always fight soft touches in between average fights. Wilder who never fights anyone before he picked Ortiz and Fury. So why not Whyte?

Whyte sucks. Martin is right. I hope Martin gets a shot at someone better than that but he might make people notice him again with an easy KO of a guy British people seem to like. STL all day!!!

Why is Martin not mentioning Luis Ortiz's name?
It can be made tomorrow if he wants it.

Cake is probably Martin's biggest hurdle

I mean maybe because there is a fairly decent point there, who has Ortiz faced, 2 loses to Wilder and a win over Hammer? Compare that to Whyte's record which actuallt isn't that bad.

Parker has one of the best records in the division. Already been a champion. Probably only guy in division who would fight anyone. Been in with a young takam, prime AJ, prime ruiz, chisora, cojanu,

Only lost to Whyte due to the heat butt....

                  Took aj the distance.
