‘Marvellous’ Marvin Sonsona: “I will win this title and bring it back to the Philippines!”

Ivan ‘LatinoPorVida’ Montiel is live on location in Ontario, Canada and caught up with rising prospect ‘Marvelous’ Marvin Sonsona who fights for the WBO junior bantamweight title Friday night against reigning champion Jose Lopez!

FF: Hello Marvin, thank you for taking the time to talk with the Fight Fans at FightFan.com. Can you give us a prediction for your fight against Jose Lopez on Friday in Canada?
MS: I don’t really have a prediction, but of course if the knockout comes I will take it. Lopez is a very tough guy and it should be an exciting fight.
FF: How do you feel mentally and physically?
MS: I feel great I’ve been training hard for this fight and am looking to take the title back to the Philippines!
FF: Have you seen Jose Lopez fight before?
MS: Yes I have but I have a game plan and I believe that if I stick to it I will beat him.
FF: In closing what would you like to say to all your fans?
MS: I want to thank the Filipino community here in Toronto for all your support hope to see you all at my fight. I will try even harder knowing that so many fans will be cheering me on.
